Comments Made About This Stitch Pattern

  • I checked the stitch count in the 'Repeat' section of the pattern. It always has 14 loops on the needle. on Row 6, it leads in with a decrease (ssk) and an increase (yo), then there is a k3. The next part of the instruction is a cable worked over a total of 6 stitches (slip next 3 stitches to dpn and hold in front, k3, then k3 from dpn). After the cable is complete there are three stitches left that are knit (k3). It is not as clear how you are two stitches short on Row 8, however I suspect you are missing the increases (yo) on Rows 6 and 7.

  • What a gorgeous stitch pattern. I am trying to work on this, and have had to rip out the pattern a couple of times. I am finding on the 6th row, at the end of the row there is an extra 3 sts left over. If you knit those extra 3 sts the 7th row works out. On the 8th row I am short 2 sts at the end of the row? Anyone having the same problem and can help me?
